Togo - Covid-19: International flights to resume in Togo from Saturday

Togo - Societe
The General Director of the Togo National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC-Togo), Colonel Dokissim Gnama Latta, has announced Thursday during the weekly press conference of the National Management Committee of the response against Covid-19 (CNGR), the reopening of the International airport of Lomé from Saturday 1st, August 2020.
The airport which was temporarily closed since March due to the pandemic COVID-19, will be opened to travelers again from this weekend with some news measures to protect passengers against a potential contamination of the novel Coronavirus.

The Togolese state recommends that all travelers departing from or going to Lomé to take out medical or travel insurance when purchasing their ticket, if they do not already have international health insurance.

Any traveler departing from Lomé must undergo a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before departure.

A laboratory dedicated to screening passengers departing from Lomé is located in the enclosure of the former terminal of the Gnassingbé Eyadema International Airport (AIGE) hereinafter Lomé airport for the screening tests of the COVID-19.

Moreover it's recommended to travelers to install the TOGO SAFE mobile application on arrival at Lomé airport, and keep it active for the duration of their stay or at least 30 days from their arrival in the country.

Togo has then become one of the first ouest-africain countries to partially lift their travel restrictions amid the pandemic Coronavirus,
